It's not the first time Elden Ring fans have created fans art with a theme of Elden Ring Runes Pokemon, but it's certainly one of the funniest. Many of the jokes that exist in the Elden Ring fandom at the moment are based on one gag, which is known as"the Dog Meme. The idea is that players joke that their enemies, NPCs as well as objects that are clearly not canine as such are, in actuality, dogs.
Bromojumbo from Twitter joined involved by posting fan art of Tyrunt Tyrantrum, two famous Fossil Pokemon based on the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex, with an Elden Ring twist. Tyrunt and Tyrantrum are usually depicted as scaly reptilian creatures featuring bright orange heads and ruffs of feathers. The new design provides them with coats of reddish and brown fur as well as a distinct appearance of a canine and the hollow black-white eyes of some of Elden's most terrifying enemies.
Bromojumbo's effort to blend adorable Pokemon with this terrifying Elden Ring adversary has produced two creatures that straddle the border between cool and scary. Their version of Tyrunt is a dark grey-brown dinosaur covered in tufts of fur, being seated in the normal stance that Tyrunts take with its tongue hanging out like dogs. Their Tyrantrum is dog-like, with a larger head as well as canine ears rather than an ear crest, and the reddened scars are instead of a scale pattern. It's also sporting a black spiked collar, which appears to be a stylistic choice to elden ring weapons for sale make it appear like one of the dogs. Both designs come with black dog noses and gray fur accents.
